ISCP Climate Working Group

The ISCP aims to offer an ongoing commitment to social improvement, the environment and climate change.

We have taken action in a number of ways including our wish to promote and share information about the work of our members in areas such as the charitable, not-for-profit, voluntary and community coaching psychology services.  In 2019, we had a Special Section within Coaching Psychology International (the Society’s Journal) on the topic of Ecopsychology informed coaching psychology.  At our recent 9th International Congress of Coaching Psychology event in London (October, 2019) we also had an Ecopsychology Stream and Climate Change exhibition stand.

In 2020, the Society will be sharing new guidelines and initiatives from our ISCP Climate Working Group.  More details will be available soon.

The ISCP International Centre for Coaching Psychology Research is undertaking a survey in 2020 looking at tackling climate change concerns of coachees in coaching and coaching psychology practice. Our President, Prof Stephen Palmer, will be giving a paper at the Health and Welling at Work Conference 2020 and will share preliminary results.
